Check out the images from our latest show with Proud Gallery, showcasing the stunning photography of Andy Rosen. ‘The End of Generation X’ is running from 11th june -19th July 2015 and features unseen images from the early Punk era.
A young Boy George pre Culture Club working the cloakroom at Soho’s Blitz Club, outtakes from the cover shoot for The Jam’s ‘Setting Sons’ album, a slew of live shots of The Clash at the cusp of the band’s explosion onto the punk scene and intimate portraits of Johnny Rotten are among the many photographs that are to be exhibited publicly for the first time.
Print Post were able to capture the 35mm negatives, that had been in storage since the early 1980s, by scanning them in with an Imacon Scanner. We were able to maintain the grain in the images and after a couple days had the beautiful end results which you can see for yourself at Proud Gallery, Camden.
Proud Gallery (Camden) can be found at: The Horse Hospital, The Stables Market, Camden Market, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AH.
